While completing the sign-up process, you will need to create and connect your Stripe account before you can take your first job; this is the automated payment system we use at Zippd to pay our drivers. ‘Goods in Transit’ insurance is insurance for the items you are carrying. If they were to be stolen or damaged, ‘Goods in Transit’ insurance would cover this. ‘Hire and Reward’ only covers the car and not the items inside it.
All of our van drivers must have a minimum ‘Goods in Transit’ cover of £10,000. Car drivers should have a minimum cover of £5,000, however where car drivers do not have this, Zippd will cover the cost of any genuine claim up to £250.
