What do I need to sign up?

To sign up to Zippd you will need:

  • Valid UK driving license
  • Smartphone and UK mobile phone number
  • A roadworthy vehicle with a valid MOT
  • Utility bill or bank statement dated within the last 3 months
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Proof of Hire & Reward Insurance
  • Proof of Goods in Transit Insurance

Onboarding requirements

What insurance do I need?

To drive with Zippd, you will need two types of insurance:

  • Hire and Reward Insurance: Allows drivers to carry and deliver people’s goods in return for payment. This is a legal requirement.
  • Goods in Transit Insurance (GIT): This covers items for damage while being transported. All van drivers must have a minimum insurance of £10,000.
  • Public Liability (optional): Some jobs require Public Liability Insurance. Having it can open more opportunities.
