What do I need to sign up?

To sign up to Zippd you will need:

Valid UK driving license
Smartphone and UK mobile phone number
A roadworthy vehicle with a valid MOT
Utility bill or bank statement dated within the last 3 months
The right to work in the UK
Proof of Hire & Reward Insurance
Proof of Goods in Transit Insurance
Proof of Public Liability Insurance
Proof of Employers’ Liability Insurance (optional)

Onboarding requirements

What insurance do I need?

To activated your fleet on Zippd, you will need four types of insurance:

Hire and Reward Insurance: This is a legal requirement to carry goods in return for payment.
Goods in Transit Insurance (GIT): A minimum of £10,000 is required to cover transported items for damage.
Public Liability Insurance: Protects your business from the cost of third-party compensation claims.
Employers Liability Insurance (optional): Covers your business for claims and legal fees if a staff member falls ill or is injured due to work.
